As part of the largest engineering honor society, we are committed to promoting integrity and excellence in engineering through academic achievement, professional development, and more.
Founded in 1885 at Lehigh University, Tau Beta Pi is the oldest engineering honor society in the United States. There are now collegiate chapters at 250 US colleges and universities, 47 active alumni chapters in 16 districts across the country, and a total initiated membership of approximately 607,000.
The Texas Xi chapter was officially installed on February 15, 2020. Our chapter strives to promote future growth by nurturing integrity, character, and service. As a new chapter, our current objective is to raise awareness of the chapter on campus.
Founded in 1969, the University of Texas at Dallas has provided top-quality educational experiences for 50 years.
